At Applelec Interiors, we're exploring these ideas through our Designing for Calm approach. Rather than starting with products, we start with the environment and the experience people are trying to create.

Our role isn't to define what a calm or neuroinclusive environment looks like. Every person experiences spaces differently. Instead, we aim to provide designers, organisations and project teams with adaptable tools that can help create environments that are more comfortable, inclusive and responsive to the people using them.

Acoustic Comfort
Reducing reverberation and unwanted background noise can help create spaces that feel calmer, more comfortable and easier to use.

Our LumiStone Calm Collection explores the use of natural colours, flowing forms and organic patterns inspired by water, stone and landscapes.

Combined with integrated illumination and adaptable lighting controls, these surfaces can be used to create calming focal points and restorative visual experiences across workplace, hospitality, healthcare and public environments.
Parametric Walls
Inspired by natural geometry and patterns found in the environment, Parametric Walls combine texture, shadow and illumination to create architectural surfaces with depth and movement.

Patterns inspired by water, foliage and natural forms create visual interest without overwhelming the space, while integrated lighting can be adjusted to support different moods and uses throughout the day.
Intelligent lighting & controls
Lighting should adapt to the space and the people using it. Applelec Interiors solutions can be specified with a wide range of lighting options and control systems, from simple dimming through to tuneable white, circadian lighting, and dynamic RGBW effects. Wireless controls and automation allow designers to adjust brightness, colour temperature, and ambience to suit the time of day, activity, or desired mood — creating environments that are both beautiful and responsive.
